Grenada

About Grenada

Grenada, the most southerly of the Windward Islands in the Caribbean, is just over 100 miles north of Venezuela, and is only 21 miles long and 12 miles wide.

It is a mountainous, but very lush island and for many years has been a major producer of a variety of spices. The rich soil sustains crops of sweet spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon amongst others, and savoury spices in the form of turmeric and precious saffron, plus the cocoa the world loves! With all these fragrant spices it is no wonder this island is known as the Spice Island!

Exploring can be done on both land and sea as the interior of this volcanic island is well worth seeing as it boasts the most breathtaking waterfalls and lakes, and to relax, the beaches are as near perfect as they could be with both black volcanic sand and soft white coral sand. The glorious coral reefs on which to dive complete the picture of this tiny, but perfect ‘spice’ island.

A piece of paradise - which could be all yours for the duration of your stay.
