Dining

Kahanda Kanda only uses fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on its estate, supplemented with a selection of the freshest local produce to create simple, fusion dishes and classic Sri Lankan curries with which to pamper guests. Two of the three resident chefs have trained in Thailand and offer a mouth-watering range of Thai dishes.

As important as the food itself, mealtimes are entirely at your discretion.

At breakfast a selection of local specialities are on offer as well as Western dishes. Lunch can be three courses, or you can choose from the Snack Menu. Dinner is a gourmet affair and if you would like a romantic dinner, there is the option to have a table set up in the garden for supper under the stars.

For those who are hell-bent on losing weight, a calorie-counted series of menus are available, but this is not imposed on everyone!
