The Thief has 116 rooms and suites, all with private French balconies. The 160 m2 penthouse suite has a private rooftop terrace with panoramic views.

The hotel’s restaurant, Thief Foodbar, serves gourmet food made from the season’s best local ingredients. In summer guests may enjoy cold drinks with a view from the rooftop terrace.

The meeting rooms have fantastic views of the fjord and the city, and the hotel’s executive boardrooms can be serviced with private dining.

The Thief Spa offers 800 m2 of spa and fitness facilities.

Location and Transfers

The Thief is located on the Oslo Fjord waterfront in the culture district of Tjuvholmen and is a 15 minute walk into the city centre. Oslo International Airport is approximately 50 minutes drive away.

Accommodation

Standard Room – good, spacious feel and deep armchairs invite you to spend peaceful hours in this room with a good book or film. Norwegian woollen slippers, bathrobes and blankets set the tone for a comfortable stay.

Superior Room – large bathrooms in marble with a bathtub or rainforest shower invite well-being while luxury Norwegian amenities complete your luxurious stay.

Deluxe Room – the Deluxe Rooms are spacious. elegant with front facing view. Large bathrooms invite well-being to the guests and very good wardrobe space makes it easy to unpack your suitcase.

Junior Suite – excellent spacious feeling and a separate bedroom. Large bathrooms in white Vittorio marble with bathtub and separate rainforest shower invite well-being.

The Brit Suite – this suite is a celebration of British design, art and culture, inspired by the swinging sixties. A spacious suite and furniture and decor provided by the Conran Group. With a private living room and separate bathroom allow for plenty of space.

The Broom Suite – named after and furnished by Lee Broom, an award-winning British designer, the Broom suite assures a comfortable and stylish stay. Separate bedroom, two bathrooms and canal view.

The Thief Suite – the spacious signature Thief suite on the 8th floor is a true haven. It features two balconies facing the beautiful Oslofjord as well as the canals of Tjuvholmen. It also features two bathrooms and two bedrooms.

The Oslo Suite – our largest Penthouse suite boasts a private rooftop terrace overlooking the Oslofjord. This is 94 square meters of pure delight. It includes a separate bedroom, a dining room and original artworks by Sir Peter Blake to give the Oslo Suite the feel of an exclusive private apartment, but with our hotel service staff to top it off.

Breakfast – we offer high-quality Nordic organic breakfasts based on sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.

Food Bar – this relaxed and elegant lifestyle restaurant is the heart and soul of the hotel. This bar offers a global menu with a Nordic twist: Rock star attitude, top quality food and a warm, elegant setting.

Brunch – from savory classics like Eggs Benedict paired with a spicy Bloody Mary, to our brunch favourites such as Naan bread with Avacado and Truffle Tarte Flambee, there’s nothing quite like spending a weekend enjoying a great meal with family and friends.

Bar – the Bar is an art-and design-filled lobby bar, and a place where local residents and hotel guests from all over the world enjoy our signature cocktails.

Roof – take the elevator up to a unique oasis overlooking the hills of Holmenkollen. Thief Roof is a relaxed outdoor lounge bar with a deep international flavour and salty sea breeze.

Chambre Separee – Tyveholmen is an elegant venue which is perfect for intimate occasions such as board meetings, private dinner or celebration with your closest friends.
